March 21, 2021 — It’s been an exciting spring already with four new additions to Ridgewood! Two new foals have arrived, one at Saralin in Kentucky and one here in Colorado. RWF Nolo Contendere was welcomed at Saralin on January 31st, sired by World Champion No Contest GCH and out of GTI Singing The Blues (by The Couturier). We can’t wait to get him home to Denver with his beautiful dam, who will also be joining the broodmare collection here. She has been bred back to SLB Valedictorian for 2022.
RWF In A Heartbeat arrived with the help of midwife Julie on March 4th, also sired by No Contest GCH. A beautiful redhead! Her dam, French Lace (by DBA Street Talk) has been a phenomenal producer, so we are truly thrilled to have a filly out of her.
And the girl of our dreams, Dragonsmeade Adele (Dragonsmeade Axios x HyLee’s Vega), has just arrived in Colorado from the prestigious Arcola Farm in Minnesota. This many time champion in park and pleasure has long been a favorite of ours, so bringing her home to Ridgewood when the opportunity presented itself was a no-brainer. Our plans this year are to breed her to No Contest GCH.
